Whenever I get so stressed out, I always resort to retail therapy. I know it’s not practical since I would end up with more debt than I should have but it calms me. I am aware that as a mother, I should be thinking differently but it is the way it is. My husband lets me be and it’s not like I go on a big shopping spree each time. I mean, I do but I don’t try to get us bankrupt by purchasing really expensive stuff. I guess you can say that sometimes, this retail therapy also makes me a hoarder. I like buying stuff for the house, for the baby, for my husband, and most especially for me.
Here are some of the stuff I bought a few days ago (in pictures).

Having a baby is hard work…really hard work. I remember saying even before I got married how I was so looking forward to being a mother. Even at such a young age, I knew that this was the kind of life for me. But now that I’m really a mom, I’ve realized that it’s not at all fun and games. The past year has been a constant struggle for me personally to be able to be fully comfortable and confident in everything I do for our baby. Don’t get me wrong, it is very rewarding to see our baby boy so full of joy (at least, I’m pretty sure he is happy and smiling) but it’s been honestly challenging. My husband, Miguel, has been amazing and supportive, I couldn’t ask for a better partner in all of this.
Anyway, I’m back to blogging. I think I need all the support and guidance that I can have. I want to be the best mom that I can ever be for our baby, and I believe I can be that and more with more knowledge under my belt.

If you have been reading this blog for quite a long time, then you know how exciting being a newly wed is for me. I really feel that I was born to be a wife. I’m not saying that my existence revolves around staying at home and keeping my husband happy. Of course, I’m more empowered than that. What I mean is that I feel that I’m a natural wife because everything is very easy for me. Some people say that being married is hard. But ever since me and Miguel got married, everything has been easy for me.
I love being married. I love my husband and I love having my own family. This is why I am very happy to announce that Christy and Miguel will no longer be a duo. Pretty soon, we are going to be a trio. That’s right everybody! I’m now pregnant. I’ve suspected it for a couple of weeks already and we have just confirmed it a few days ago. I’ve been pregnant for more than a month now. I feel so happy that I feel like I am on seventh heaven.
I’m so excited to be a mom, that I just cannot wait for the time I’m giving birth. At present all that I am doing right now is taking care of myself and the baby. This means getting enough sleep, eating the right food and seeing to it that our baby will grow healthy inside my womb. This baby is now my priority above everything else.
Because of this, I am placing this blog on hiatus for now. You may not know it, but every blog post I make takes a lot of work on my part. With my pregnancy, I am trying to avoid all kinds of stress. This means not trying to come up with a post for this blog on a regular basis. There may be a chance that I’ll resume blogging after the pregnancy. But right now, I don’t want to worry about this blog. This is why this will be the last post for now.
See you in a few months.

Miguel is coming any minute and thank God I’m done with the gorgeous dinner preparations. The tables are set, the mood is perfect, the parents are out (poker night), my sister went to a slumber party, and everything is done according to plan. Even the bed is prepped for friskiness. Oh yeah! Here is a little sneak peek of what I’ve done. Hope he likes it.

My hubby, Miguel, is going home next week end. Just in time for our “semi-anniversary”. Haha yeah “semi-anniversary” as it will be just 6 months since we’ve been married. Anyhow, I know it’s not that special to some people, but for us — we agreed to celebrate the 6th month mark of our wedding.
Frankly, I don’t know what to give him, it seems he has everything he needs anyway. I’ll just cook him dinner, I know how to cook his favorite pasta anyway and then get a little frisky after. In the meantime, he has been dropping online hints on what he will give me. Apparently, he can’t hide it from me no longer. He says its something that will blow my mind (because frankly I’ve blown his during several occasion, if you catch my drift?) Any who, my delicious hubby sent me a link via email with no message, just this link. What I clicked it, I saw these:
I mean, seriously? Am I supposed to pick one?

I saw another photo of my dream boy…This is time juicier, better and sexier…right hon? Darren Cris, I must say, is one of the most promising young actors of today. He’s like the Leo de Caprio of his time. He has the looks, the talents, the charm, the charisma and, of course, THE BODY!! Ugh! How does he stay so fit?! I’ve read somewhere off the internet that ellipticals are the real secret to an optimal body figure. I don’t know if it’s really true but at least Miguel is giving me one! Ha ha! I have indeed gained weight during the past months and I really need to get in shape. I want to please my hubby and myself , on and off the bed. I’m even thinking of trying some of the famous diets start use. What do you think?
This guy must wear a warning sign of something….SIIIZZZZZZZZLLEE…

Although I’ve said earlier that Blaine is mine, that only existed in my dreams. Its my hubby’s birthday today and he’s away from business. But he made sure he didn’t forget about me (even it’s HIS special day) we chatted through Skype for 3 hours. Miguel and I have been going out since middle school and been loyal since. I know I am. But yes, he has been loyal to me too. He has to attend to his dad’s aid since he has been training as his dad’s apprentice in their own fitness company. They distribute health products and what not. He has been busy lately helping out his dad since things got a little slow because of that damn recession. To top it all off, some of their clients ran off without even paying them or settling their accounts from the company. It has been a tough year for my hubby, but we get by. There have days that I feel neglected but I can’t take it against him since I know he’s been busy. We always take time to video chat online every night just to keep each other updated with what’s happening with our lives. Even though he is miles away, he is always here in my heart. Anyways, the happiest of birthdays to you may mucho papi! I love you so much! P.S. These are his most decent photo..Ha ha! Proud of my babe.

I would like to talk about God’s greatest gift to man – chocolates. Yes, that sweet, orgasmic like sensation you have every time you much a munch a block of it. Ohh, how it makes the hair at the back of my nape stand. I would to site here my favorite choco-quote:
Chocolate causes certain endocrine glands to secrete hormones that affect your feelings and behavior by making you happy. Therefore, it counteracts depression, in turn reducing the stress of depression. Your stress-free life helps you maintain a youthful disposition, both physically and mentally. So, eat lots of chocolate!
- Elaine Sherman, Book of Divine Indulgences
Chocolates has been one of my obsessions (besides men) ever since I was a little princess. Dad your always grab a small bag of M&Ms whenever we go out to groceries and mom would always be there to control my choco-loco sessions.

My arch rival, Jem, has been at it again. We’ve been clashing ever since she joined the drama club last fall, but I must admit the bitch has talent. She sang the song from Les Mis, Fantine’s Death, during her audition and it really moved up all to tears. The bitch has lungs of steel. Of course I wouldn’t yield for a sophomore. Right now, she had been talking to Mrs. Murillo about staging Les Mis! Hello!! Same producer, same star! How can she do this?! Doesn’t this biatch have a life? I mean come on, why go after me? What did I do wrong? Is it my fault is was with such talent, charisma, poise, and grace? Bring it on, little miss steel lungs!! If you have no idea what I’m talking about, maybe these pics could ring a bell!

Like OMG! The pics for Glee season 3 just has been released and nobody is as gaga for Darren Cris as moi! He is like the ultimate eye candy of the decade. He has it all. The looks, the talent, the appeal, the body and the hair. Ooooohh! He makes me wanna….dance!! He maybe an official McKinley High Gleek because of his on-screen partner, Kurt, but in real life he’s mine. (I wish!) I really like this guy’s charisma. He has that certain aura that captivates every gals heart. His smile is so alluring that it hypnotizes your very core and melts your knees into a puddle. He is charming, talented, witty and so handsome. This guy has it all. He has that certain mixed-race thing going on since his dad is Irish and his mom is a Filipino. Asians and Caucasians always have beautiful off springs. Even Aztecs and Asians have good looking kids. Damn! I wish I was born with the same mixed-race thing. But don’t get me wrong, I love my parents. Ha ha! So anyway, I’ll continue drooling over his photos.
